Jim Smiley, President/CEO

Since 2008, Jim Smiley has proved to be an invaluable leader and asset to HM Cragg. Jim has a lifetime (32+ years) of management and consulting experience in both the telecommunications and distribution industries. Jim maintains an active role in the local church and community and is a devoted husband, father, and doting grandfather.
Stephanie Aamodt, Vice President of Finance and Administration

Stephanie Aamodt, Vice President - Finance & Administration

After receiving her B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud State University, Stephanie earned her CPA license in 1999 and served in the public sector for almost three years. She joined HM Cragg in 2002, bringing her accounting expertise and financial experience from various positions held with distributors, manufacturers, and service organizations. Outside of work, Stephanie donates time and resources to RAGOM (Rescue A Golden Of Minnesota) and Helping Paws. She and her husband of 14 years relish time with their two golden retrievers, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Ron Piersky, Vice President of Sales

Ron Piersky, Vice President - Business Development

Ron Piersky has spent over 13 years working in the UPS industry—specifically in sales—with recognized power quality providers including Powerware, Best Power, and MGE. Ron is a seasoned traveler and active leader both in and out of the office. When not fly-fishing or enjoying an excursion to the Caribbean, Ron volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and serves his local church as an elder.
Dan Pumarlo, Director of Standby Sales and Service

Dan Pumarlo, Director - Service & Standby

Dan is an industry-experienced professional with over 20 years of cross-functional backup power applications and project management experience. A graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School and the Naval Nuclear Electronics Technician School, Dan served in the US Navy aboard the USS Los Angeles submarine and is well-schooled in a wide range of telecommunications, utility, and switchgear infrastructure solutions. Outside of HM Cragg, Dan is an active father and citizen, coaching Little League baseball and participating in Cub Scouts with his two sons, as well as donating time and resources to local charities.
Tom Latanision, VP of Sales

Tom Latanision, Vice President of Sales

Educated at the University of Minnesota (BA in Economics, MBA), Tom has spent the majority of his career in sales, sales management, and channel management with electrical manufacturers. Prior to his position with HM Cragg, he established relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, and commercial, industrial, and OEM customers. Tom, a native Minnesotan, currently resides in Edina, MN, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
