ITWatchDogs - Digital Sensors

Digital sensors communicate with the climate monitor through a digital serial bus. On units supporting digital sensors, up to 16 can be attached by using splitters. Sensor type is auto detected by the monitor. This is used to identify the sensors on the web interface. Each digital sensor has a friendly name, settable by the user. Sensors come in several different lengths. The total cable length of all digital sensors combined should not exceed 600'.

	Temperature Sensor Up to 16 temperature probes can be placed in hot spots. Stick one in the cabinet inlet and one in the outlet to diagnose air-flow problems. Put one in the A/C vent to detect problems at the source. Accurate to +/-0.5°C. Temperature Sensor Datasheet
	Remote Temperature, Airflow, Humidity, Dew Point Sensor The Remote Temparature, Airflow, Humidity, Dew Point (RTAFHD3) sensor provides real-time values and feeds data back to the unit for data logging and alarming.  All sensors are instant Plug & Play with standard RJ-11 jacks.  Monitor temperature and humidity to identify hot spots, and adjust the ambient temperature of your data center to reduce cooling power consumption while increasing efficiency within ASHRAE guidelines. 	CCAT Analog to Digital Interface Converts an analog sensor into a digital sensor that can be connected to a digital sensor port. Useful for units that don't have an I/O port (like the MiniGoose) or for adding additional analog sensors to a unit that does. The CCAT needs to be programmed for the type of analog sensor that will be connected to it. Several versions are available depending on the type on analog sensor used. 	Input/Output Expander (IOE) The IOE is the first-of-its-kind smart accessory in the environmental monitoring industry offering 32 configurable analog inputs allowing users to monitor and set alarm thresholds for 0—5VDC signal and/or open or closed switches. The addition of three relay outputs enable users to trigger external devices like auto-dialers, strobe lights or back-up a/c units on alarm or manually through the web interface. Only one IOE can be added to a single Series II device. The IOE pairs naturally with the MiniGoose II providing a cost-effective method for bringing your sensors online. The MiniGoose II mounts directly on the IOE chassis for added convenience. I/O Expander is compatible with the MiniGoose II, MiniGoose XP II, WeatherGoose II, SuperGoose II and RelayGoose II models.
