Branch Circuit Monitoring (RPP)

Despite the advancements of today’s complex backup power systems, a single point-of-failure remains—the branch circuit. Eaton’s Energy Management System is designed to continuously monitor the current on all breaker levels to proactively utilize power distribution systems to their fullest potential. Even with dated or multi-vendor power systems infrastructure, the stand-alone Energy Management Solution can monitor up to 84 circuits in a standard, three-phase panelboard.

Eaton’s Energy Management System

• Remote monitoring via the Power Xpert® Gateway Card, which links Eaton and third-party equipment to the local area network or Internet using Modbus TCP or SNMP.
• Tracking and recording additional energy parameters and providing more standard features than competing branch circuit monitoring systems.
• Access to real-time and historical information for analysis, troubleshooting, power management, billing and energy planning.
