Eaton IPM Version 1 - Free UpgradeEaton’s IPM Version 1 Software Reaching EOL–Get a FREE Upgrade

Eaton’s Intelligence Power Manager (IPM) version 1 software will have a sales end-of-life on June 30, 2022. Eaton will continue to support IPM 1 with bug fixes and cybersecurity threats through December 31, 2023, but there will be no new features or operating systems added to IPM 1.
 
Customers are encouraged to upgrade from IPM 1 to IPM 2 now, as this upgrade is FREE through December 31, 2022. Upgrade to IPM 2 at no charge for an equivalent perpetual license, as well as no charge for the yearly maintenance entitlement for IPM 1 purchases after January 1, 2020. For the purchases of IPM 1 prior to January 1, 2020, Eaton is offering an equivalent IPM 2 perpetual version at a 50% discount and the first year of maintenance at no charge

Introducing the latest addition to Eaton’s 5 series UPS line, the Eaton 5PX G2 rackmount and tower UPS provides the maximum power possible at each power rating. The 5PX G2 UPS has power ratings ranging from 1 to 3 kVA, with low and high voltage options and offers up to four optional external battery modules for extra runtime. With select 2 and 3 kVA models, the 5PX G2 UPS offers a reduced depth that conserves space for high density wallmount rack installations.
 
Ideal applications for the 5PX G2 include: enterprise and distributed IT, telecom, retail, banks, IDF, small business, long runtime needs.

Eaton Recommends Upgrading Legacy Power Xpert Gateway Network CardsEaton Recommends Upgrading Legacy Power Xpert Gateway Network Cards

Eaton’s Cybersecurity Center of Excellence has identified critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the Power Xpert Gateway network cards due to outdated software components and is therefore recommending customers immediately upgrade to the current Eaton Industrial Gateway network cards which have the latest cybersecurity protections as well as UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity certifications.
