Caring for Your Eaton 9170 UPS Customers
Have you sold Eaton 9170 UPSs to your customers? Now is the perfect time to revisit those customers and review their applications to help them maintain power to their critical loads. 9170s were given “end of life” status in 2018 by Eaton, and repairs for 9170s are now in the “best effort” stage of support. Customers with 9170s should be considering the 9PXM as a replacement for their UPS, as new replacement power modules for the 9170 are no longer available and repairs to existing power modules may not be possible.
