New Eaton Rack-Mount Cooling Unit
Eaton has expanded it’s line of rack-mount cooling with highly efficient and environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant. The new 9,000 BTU/h (2.7 kW) ASHRE unit mounts at the bottom of an EIA-standard 19 in. rack and uses refrigerant with lower Global Warming Potential to be up to 39% more energy efficient. It is compliant with the highest efficiency standards by CEC, DoE, NRCAN and EPA/AIM.
Features:
- 9,000 BTU/h (2.7 kW) ASHRE prevents heat-related equipment malfunctions and downtime
- Lower-GWP with R32 refrigerant and up to 39% more energy efficient
- Optional network management card enables remote monitoring and control
- Compliant to the highest efficiency standards by CEC, DoE, NRCAN and EPA/AIM
- Mounts in 8U of space at the bottom of an EIA-standard 19 in. rack enclosure

Eaton End of Ordering Announcement for 93E Product Line
Eaton has announced they are terminating any future orders on the 93E product line. All existing orders will be honored, or a substitute product will be recommended if they cannot deliver on existing orders. All UPS products and matching accessory cabinets will have the orders discontinued at this time.
Eaton will require you to transition all future 20 to 60 kVA opportunities to the 9355 (10-30) or 93PM (10 to 60) product lines.

Eaton Price Increase Announcement
Eaton has announced an upcoming price increase that will be effective Friday, December 19, 2025. The business climate of the U.S. remains dynamic and Eaton continues to respond to supply chain challenges and trade policy changes. Although Eaton has taken—and will continue to take—mitigating actions to reduce these impacts, it is necessary to implement a price increase.
This price action will impact select products by an average of 2-4%, with some products receiving higher, lower or no increase. Price adjustment rates vary by product type and apply to all customer categories. Specific product details will be released by Eaton prior to November 19, 2025.
